Happy Mother/Grandmother's Day!

My sister found out a few weeks ago that she's going to be a grandmother! She's very excited (I'm excited to be a Gr-ant Deb!) I don't normally send my sister a mother's day card - she's not my mom. But I thought this mother/grandmother's day deserved a card!!

I ended up with a CAS card because I didn't want to hide this fabulous Basic Grey paper! The image was colored with Copics (and a little glitter).

Deb's Recipe of the Month Club - March

Wow! The end of the month is here and I haven't share the March edition of "Deb's Recipe of the Month Club". I had posted a card earlier that used the extra "Lemon & Bay" image that I had colored for this recipe. Luscious Lemon Bars is an old family favorite because the ingredients are staples in our house. We ALWAYS have the stuff to make them when the sweet tooth starts yelling!

Stamps: Lockhart Stamp Co LEMON AND BAY
Paper: Basic Grey
Ink: Memento
Accessories: Nesties, Scraper's Floss, and Copics

LUSCIOUS LEMON BARS

• 1c butter, softened
• dash of salt
• 1/2c powdered sugar
• 2c flour

Combine and press into 9x13 pan. Bake 350 for 15 minutes.

• 4 eggs, beaten
• 2c sugar
• 1/4c flour
• 6T lemon juice

Mix together. Pour over base after slightly cooling. Bake 350 for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar when cooled. Cut into bars.

FTL79 Birthday Card Fairy - February

I only had one birthday this month as a WISH RAK birthday fairy. I also liked this week's Clean&Simple sketch challenge (FTL79)

I had colored the LEMON AND BAY stamp for something else and ended up with an extra image. When I saw the sketch - I knew how to use it! Card base is double sided Basic Grey ORIGINS paper.

Happy Birthday Jessica!

My niece, Jessica, celebrated her 22nd birthday on Friday (yes, the one getting married in a few short weeks). But the card didn't show up on time, so I've been waiting to post it. I hope it's there now Jess!

I did this card as a challenge piece for the Wish RAK November sketch. I used 2 images (Tilda and the Cherry Colander) that I received as Wish RAK's (random acts of kindness). Colored with COPICS and glitter pen (what would I do without my glitter pen?) Inside I made a little slot for a gift card.
