So, when I first started my blog, I told you I was working on Easter submissions for a magazine. It was hard for me because everybody was working on Halloween stuff and I had the rabbits out! :D Still I sent off 6 entries to Stamper's Sampler with my fingers crossed (since it was my 1st submission).
This weekend my SS issue came and none of my cards were selected for publication. I have others in the pipeline. So while I'm disappointed it didn't work out this time - I'm hopeful for future issues.

Well on the bright side ... you have your Easter cards done. I think they were crazy tho' because that DeNami card is CUTE!
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome cards, Deb -- such an impressive arrange of techniques and styles! My favorite is the chocolate Easter bunny card and I'm not just saying that because it's chocolate; it has the perfect vintage feel to it and I love the doilie!
ReplyDeleteIt would certainly be a waste of my money to buy Stamper's Sampler, when the best cards are here on your blog! These are all so great, I hardly know where to begin!
ReplyDeleteOMG - there are so many things in here that I LOVE!!! Can't believe that one of them didn't get picked up but tehre is lots more opportunities :-) I'vn not been brave enought to try yet!! Maybe some day!
ReplyDeleteDeb,
ReplyDeleteThis are beautiful cards. Good luck on your other entries.

Deb, they are all beautiful ! My favorite is the first one. I like the wonderful fresh colors and the DP fits great !! Good luck for next time.
ReplyDeleteWow, these are great! The second pink/chocolate one is mt favorite; love that vintage looking bunny, the card is gorgeous! The alchol ink one is running a close second....
ReplyDeleteDeb, don't give up! If you didn't get the cards back, they can keep them for over a year before the use them. In fact I've had some of mine show up two years after I submitted them.
ReplyDeleteWhat this is not a DP? Then this card deserves more praise !!
ReplyDeleteOhh, these are cool! I love the a.i. one. I bought myself some of that this year for a Christmas pressie from the hubby, but now I can't remember all of the things I wanted to use it for. LOL Gotta visit the Tim-man's blog to find my inspiration. lol OR just come here ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure we'll lots and lots of your work in mags to come! Wasn't the calla lily pub'd in the summer issue though?
