Instead of covering each piece and trying to get in the corners to smooth edges, I did a Glimmer Mist background. I used three colors: Sunkissed Peach, Tuscan Sunset, and Golden Terracotta. Before spraying the Tuscan Sunset (the darkest color) I used a piece of paper doily as a "mask".Then I randomly stamped small stamps (flowers, butterflies, and a number chart) on the pieces. The gold foil is self-adhesive and I think from Flower-Soft (which surprised me at the time). The image is from Paper Whimsy.
Wow, Deb, you find all the interesting swaps! These puzzle pieces are beautiful with the Glimmer Mist, gold embellies and butterfly angel. I can imagine them on so many items!!
ReplyDeleteThis is really cool!! I have some puzzle pieces saved for my cards but never know the right time or project to use them on. Very cool with the butterfly sweetie and the glimmer mist. Ohh, I am sure they will love them.
