CAS55 - Card Make Over

This week's CAS challenge (CAS55) was to take an older card in your gallery and remake it.

I love this jellyfish (or octopus) from Amuse. He's so cute! Colored with copics (BG10, BG13, RV34). I took dark blue Copic and went around the edge of the tag to ground it. I masked his head before stamping the swirl

Stamps: Amuse JELLYFISH, sentiment PaperTrey Ink, Denami Designs dotted swirl
Paper: unknown
Ink: Memento, Brilliance, Distress Ink FADED JEANS
Accessories: Marvy tag punch, ribbon, rhinestones

Here's my original card. I never really liked it. I think the image isn't strong enough to be the focal point. Ah...the early years! (GRIN)

  3. Terrific remake. I like the swirl and the way you grounded the tag. Beautiful job! I have some in my stash that I keep passing over that look plain compared to what I create now, too, so I totally think this is a great idea! Hope you have a GREAT week! Hugs, Kel
