This is a card kit from a swap (yes, I do a lot of swapping)! Isn't she cute?!? Every thing displayed came in the kit: papers, images, ribbon, flower/crystal brad. All I had to do was color Tilda with my Copics. I used the MAGNOLIA-LICIOUS November sketch for this card, but I wish now that I had flipped it so the red band was at the bottom. Tilda seems to be floating a bit, which I didn't really notice until I started to post the picture. ;)
Join me tomorrow for another Crystal Snowflake tutorial!! And the KLSNS monthly challenge that I will be announcing!
Good morning, Deb! What an adorable card! Hey--did you see that Sandy at Crafty Secrets put your snowman shaker card on her blog today? Good job!!! She's such a sweet and kind woman! Go check it out if you haven't seen it yet! Hope you're having a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful colors for this cutie; I'm always stuck in the reds, but she looks so sweet in fresh pastels! Fun sketch, too; I need to give it a try!!
ReplyDeleteOh, goody! Sandy is SO generous! Glad you're getting more Crafty Secrets stuff--so much fun!
ReplyDeleteAbout the glitter--sometimes it's NOT so straight! I do a variety of things--for wide border--sticky strip; for thin & straight, glue pen (love these!); and for just perfect width-but-hope-my-hand-doesn't wiggle-borders, just some good old Tombow glue, and I try to stay right on the border that I'm glueing! That's all I do.
Thanks for the visit--hope you like the cornbread--and the beans...yum! He's pretty fun, isn't he? I love all the historical facts he throws in--that's just my cup of tea!
Awww she is too cute! I love how the pockets match the lady bug :) She doesnt look like she is floating to me!
ReplyDeleteShe is so adorable! Great card!
